Payouts move through three connected steps: account verification, the tax interview, and the payout method you set up. The personal information across all three needs to match — same legal name, same date of birth, same person.
Why do all three need to match?
Our payout partners and tax authorities require consistent identity information across all three steps before money can move. If they don't match — for example, your payout account is in a different name than your verified ID, or your tax interview shows a different date of birth — the payment is held until the mismatch is resolved.
What if my name on the ID doesn't match my Xsolla account?
Update your Xsolla Partner Network profile to match the name on your current legal ID first, then submit your ID to verification. If you've already verified and need a name correction (for example, after marriage or a legal name change), contact our support team at creators@xsolla.com and we'll guide you through it.
I use a stage name or handle — does that matter?
Your public profile, channel, and content can keep using your stage name or handle. The matching rule applies to the legal-name fields used for verification, tax, and payout — not to your public-facing identity.
