What is account verification?
It's a quick, one-time check that confirms you're really you. Once you're verified, you can apply to revenue-share campaigns and withdraw your earnings through more payout options. The check is handled by Sumsub, a specialist identity verification provider used by major platforms and fintechs around the world.
Why is Xsolla introducing this?
Two reasons, both focused on giving you a better experience:
Better payouts. We're connecting Xsolla Partner Network with new third-party payout partners. That's the foundation for a wider list of supported countries and methods — and, over time, faster payouts and lower minimum thresholds as those integrations come online. Those partners need to know your identity to send you money.
A healthier ecosystem. Verification helps keep fake and abusive accounts off the platform, which protects the value of the campaigns you participate in.
Do I need to verify right now?
No — there's no rush. You can keep using Xsolla Partner Network exactly as you do today. We're letting you know early so you have plenty of time before your next earning campaign or payout.
When will Xsolla actually ask me to verify?
You'll only be prompted to verify when you take an action tied to earnings:
Applying to a revenue-share campaign
Applying to a paid (fixed-fee) campaign, when those launch
Requesting a payout
You can also start verification any time before then — totally up to you.
One thing to keep in mind before you start: the name and personal details on your verification need to match the ones on your tax interview and your payout method. If they don't match, payouts can't be released. If you've recently changed your name or you're not sure which version is on file, see "Why everything needs to match" below before you begin.
Is there a cost?
No. Account verification is free for creators.
